Vocal Artistry

• Voice Lessons - Explore and elevate your vocal technique with an international faculty of master pedagogues and top-tier working artists

Performing Skills

• Dramatic Performance and Acting‍ coachings - transformative journey from singing to expressive artistry. Explore the challenge of expressing freely and bridge the gap between skill and soul

• Working with Conductor - develop essential skills: listening, timing, flexibility –to fully inhabit the music and become a responsive, confident performer

Collaborative Piano Training and Ensemble Coaching

• Mentored by Master Teacher‍ - intensive immersion program for collaborative pianists

• Four (4) private lessons with Dr. Stanescu over the course of the program

• Daily Performance Class -for both singers and pianists, culminating in a final class concert of aria and song

• Daily collaborative work - play for rehearsals and classes

• Multiple performance opportunities -perform in concerts and masterclasses

• Alexander Technique group and individual sessions - discovery of ease, freedom, and mastery through detailed application of the Alexander Technique, mind-body integration, whole-person approach

The Whole Singer is BRIDGES’ signature interdisciplinary approach designed to elevate emerging artists to their highest level of performance and develop into career-ready professionals. It is an immersive intensive training experience, individually tailored to the needs of each participant.

Led by Dr. Cristina Stanescu, the Collaborative Piano Program offers an intensive immersion in opera and art song repertoire.

Enrolled pianists will gain hands-on experience through:

• Participation in rehearsals and performances

• Daily Coachings

• Daily Performance Class

• Four (4) private lessons with Dr. Stanescu over the course of the program

• Masterclasses participation (by selection)

This program is designed to develop high-level collaborative skills, stylistic fluency, and professional readiness within a rigorous, supportive artistic environment.

BRIDGES Vocal Arts Mentoring Program is a consulting and mentorship initiative, created to support emerging artists at a pivotal moment in their development. The program offers structured guidance to navigate the first crucial steps of a professional career, with a particular focus on the European market.

The program is tailored to select group of singers ready to transition from student to young professional who seek informed, individualized support in bridging training and early career.

Mentoring Program incudes:

• Introductory auditions to select industry professionals

• Masterclasses and information sessions with respected agents

As a key component, BRIDGES Vocal Arts: Paris Intensive offers comprehensive support and rigorous preparation for the upcoming Fall audition season, providing technical, artistic, and professional tools to perform with confidence, clarity, and competitive readiness. Participant support extends beyond the scope of the summer program.

MASTERCLASS with Sharon Mohar & Liora Maurer

Date & Location: Sergei Rachmaninov Conservatoire- July 2025

From Singer to Artist – Opera Performance Masterclass with Sharon Mohar & Liora Maurer.

In this unique masterclass, vocal coach Liora Maurer and performance specialist Sharon Mohar join forces to guide opera singers on a transformative journey from singing to expressive artistry.

Working with four selected singers in front of a live audience, they will explore the relationship between music and text, character development, storytelling, and the challenge of expressing freely without overthinking. Combining their individual expertise- vocal coaching and interpretive insight - the class aims to support singers in bridging the gap between skill and soul, turning performance into true artistic expression.

MASTERCLASS with Stéphane Sénéchal

Date & Location: Salle Cortot- July 2025

A day-long public masterclass with Stéphane Sénéchal, culminating in the evening concert for participants at the renowned Salle Cortot- a historic concert Hall celebrated for its exceptional acoustics. Event was widely covered in press and social media.

MASTERCLASS with Cristina Stanescu

Masterclass with Cristina Stanescu included both Art Song and Operatic Repertoire.

Cristina Stanescu is an internationally respected collaborative pianist and vocal coach. She is the founding Director of the Collaborative Piano Department at the Mannes School of Music. Dr. Stanescu has performed concerti and recitals around the world and has a passion for working with singers and pianists to advance the artistry of this unique musical partnership.

Housing is not included in the program tuition.

Students may choose to arrange accommodations independently. However, booking within the Travelkunst-coordinated group hotel block is strongly encouraged.

For the third consecutive year, BRIDGES Vocal Arts is partnering with Travelkunst LLC, a full-service travel agency with deep expertise in European travel, to coordinate a dedicated hotel room block for program participants in Paris.

Accommodation coordination through Travelkunst is offered for a flat service fee. Full details will be available during the housing sign-up process.

TRAVELKUNST

Booking within the Travelkunst-coordinated group hotel block is strongly encouraged. Staying within the room block offers several advantages, including coordinated group logistics, proximity to fellow participants, consistent group pricing, and easier support before and during the program.

Single and shared room options will be available. Room assignments will be managed in coordination with the program organizer.

Accommodations booked outside the group hotel block cannot be integrated into group logistics or coordinated transfers.

A housing sign-up link will be shared with accepted participants once registration opens.

Participants interested in using Travelkunst LLC services must indicate so on the application.

AIR TRAVEL

For students based in the United States, Travelkunst’s in-house Air Department can assist with flight arrangements, if desired.

Participants based outside the U.S. are encouraged to arrange their own transportation to Paris.
