BRIDGES Vocal Arts: Paris Intensive is a 10-day residency for emerging opera singers and collaborative pianists, offering world-class training with distinguished international faculty through private lessons, ensemble work, masterclasses, and public performances.

More than a course, BRIDGES is a transformative artistic residency designed to inspire, challenge, and unite emerging vocal artists. It is rooted in the belief that artistic excellence must be matched by deep human connection—to masterful mentors, supportive and ambitious peers, and the ever-evolving legacy of the operatic art form.

Our mission is to offer each participant a pivotal, defining moment in their artistic journey—within a space where great voices and bold ideas grow together.

BRIDGES Vocal Arts is a 10-day intensive residency designed to promote learning and growth through immersive experiences. It offers a wide range of vocal arts disciplines essential for the development of the classical singer.

With Stéphane Sénéchal and Anya Fidelia at the helm, BRIDGES Vocal Arts have launched a new consulting and mentoring initiative within the Mentoring Program, designed to support singers in navigating the crucial first steps of a professional career, with a particular focus on the European opera market.
This initiative offers personalized career counseling, repertoire guidance, audition preparation, and strategic networking support to select singers ready to take the leap into the professional world.
As part of this effort, the BRIDGES Vocal Arts: Paris Intensive will provide comprehensive support and rigorous training to prepare participants specifically for the upcoming Fall audition season.

From Singer to Artist – Opera Performance Masterclass with Sharon Mohar & Liora Maurer.
In this unique masterclass, vocal coach Liora Maurer and performance specialist Sharon Mohar join forces to guide opera singers on a transformative journey from singing to expressive artistry.
Working with three selected singers in front of a live audience, they will explore the relationship between music and text, character development, storytelling, and the challenge of expressing freely without overthinking. Combining their individual expertise- vocal coaching and interpretive insight - the class aims to support singers in bridging the gap between skill and soul, turning performance into true artistic expression.

A day-long public masterclass with Stéphane Sénéchal, culminating in the evening concert for participants at the renowned Salle Cortot- a historic concert Hall celebrated for its exceptional acoustics.

Masterclass with Cristina Stanescu “Evening of Song” focusing on Art Song Repertoire.
Cristina Stanescu is an internationally respected collaborative pianist and vocal coach. She is the founding Director of the Collaborative Piano Department at the Mannes School of Music. Dr. Stanescu has performed concerti and recitals around the world and has a passion for working with singers and pianists to advance the artistry of this unique musical partnership.

BRIDGES and AIM Paris Academy & Festival Collaboration
BRIDGES is thrilled to announce its 2025 HYBRID collaboration with the AIM Paris Academy and Festival this July.
In addition to intensive training with BRIDGES’ expert faculty, participants in the HYBRID program will experience the rich artistic offerings of the AIM Festival Season, which presents over 12 high-caliber concerts in a single week, held at prestigious venues of Paris.
The renowned Salle Cortot—a historic concert hall celebrated for its exceptional acoustics—serves as the central stage for these performances. Faculty concerts, featuring internationally acclaimed artists, are open to all students.
Maestri Stanescu and Fidelia will serve on the faculty of both BRIDGES and AIM, leading collaborative pairings through intensive coaching and performance preparation. The HYBRID track seamlessly combines the BRIDGES and AIM Paris programs into one streamlined daily schedule.
- Multiple performance opportunities: Performances are scheduled each morning, afternoon, and early evening (with teacher’s recommendation)
- Collaborative Piano training with expert faculty (for piano and piano & voice students)
- Access to ongoing concerts and events throughout the AIM Festival
- Practice application of newly acquired skills in a live performance
- Collaborative experience: Singers will be paired with pianists or participate in voice-chamber ensembles, preparing and performing operatic, art song, and chamber music repertoire.

Housing is not included. However, a dedicated travel specialist is coordinating group hotel accommodations (shared rooms available) and flight booking for those who choose to use this service. Group rates may apply if enough participants opt-in.
