BRIDGES Vocal Arts: Paris Intensive is a 11-day residency for opera singers and collaborative pianists, offering world-class training with distinguished international faculty through private lessons, ensemble work, masterclasses, and public performances.

More than a course, BRIDGES is a transformative artistic residency designed to inspire, challenge, and unite emerging vocal artists. Our program brings together gifted singers and collaborative pianists for a rich training experience rooted in excellence and deep human connection to masterful mentors and supportive, ambitious cohort of peers.

Participants engage in private lessons, coachings, ensemble work, explorative workshops, masterclasses, and multiple public performances.

BRIDGES offers more than training ~ it delivers a pivotal, defining moment in each participant’s artistic journey, within a space where great voices and bold ideas grow together.

- Working with Conductor training: develop essential skills - listening, timing, flexibility –to fully inhabit the music and become a responsive, confident performer.

Led by Dr. Cristina Stanescu, the Collaborative Piano Program offers an intensive immersion in opera and art song repertoire.
Enrolled pianists will gain hands-on experience through:
- Participation in rehearsals and performances
- Daily coachings
- Four (4) private lessons with Dr. Stanescu over the course of the program
This program is designed to develop high-level collaborative skills, stylistic fluency, and professional readiness within a rigorous, supportive artistic environment.
BRIDGES Vocal Arts Mentoring Program is a consulting and mentorship initiative, created to support emerging artists at a pivotal moment in their development. The program offers structured guidance to navigate the first crucial steps of a professional career, with a particular focus on the European market.
The program is tailored to select group of singers ready to transition from student to young professional who seek informed, individualized support in bridging training and early career.

MASTERCLASS with Sharon Mohar & Liora Maurer
Date & Location: Sergei Rachmaninov Conservatoire- July 2025
From Singer to Artist – Opera Performance Masterclass with Sharon Mohar & Liora Maurer.
In this unique masterclass, vocal coach Liora Maurer and performance specialist Sharon Mohar join forces to guide opera singers on a transformative journey from singing to expressive artistry.
Working with four selected singers in front of a live audience, they will explore the relationship between music and text, character development, storytelling, and the challenge of expressing freely without overthinking. Combining their individual expertise- vocal coaching and interpretive insight - the class aims to support singers in bridging the gap between skill and soul, turning performance into true artistic expression.
MASTERCLASS with Stéphane Sénéchal
Date & Location: Salle Cortot- July 2025
A day-long public masterclass with Stéphane Sénéchal, culminating in the evening concert for participants at the renowned Salle Cortot- a historic concert Hall celebrated for its exceptional acoustics. Event was widely covered in press and social media.
MASTERCLASS with Cristina Stanescu

Masterclass with Cristina Stanescu included both Art Song and Operatic Repertoire.
Cristina Stanescu is an internationally respected collaborative pianist and vocal coach. She is the founding Director of the Collaborative Piano Department at the Mannes School of Music. Dr. Stanescu has performed concerti and recitals around the world and has a passion for working with singers and pianists to advance the artistry of this unique musical partnership.
